That sentence is on GloriaFood's own site. New restaurants can no longer sign up, while existing restaurants continue to be supported. Oracle acquired GloriaFood in 2021.

GloriaFood does not publish an end-of-service date on its own site. Conflicting dates for 2027 circulate online, and we will not print a date we could not verify. Go by the notice in your own account.

What GloriaFood got right

Most people reading this page already use GloriaFood. There is no point running it down, because in a lot of ways it was genuinely good.

  • The core service really was free: unlimited orders, unlimited locations, no monthly fee.
  • It charged no commission per order. Neither do we, so that is not an advantage we have over it.
  • QR menus, drawing your own delivery areas, promotions and reports were all in the free plan.
  • It had features Afiets does not have, such as table reservations and a POS system.
  • Its ordering screen supported many languages including Turkish, so multi-language is not our differentiator either.

Frequently asked questions

Has GloriaFood really closed?

According to the notice on its own site the service has been discontinued and new signups are closed. Existing customers continue to be supported.

Can I move my GloriaFood data into Afiets?

We enter your menu for you, which is why we ask for a file or a screenshot. We do not have an automated import tool.

Do you take a commission on my orders?

No. Beyond the flat monthly subscription there is no per-order fee. GloriaFood took no commission either.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. You can use an address such as yourrestaurant.afiets.com, or we can connect your own domain.
